Head of Sales – Media & Healthcare

Job Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Location: Remote (United States)
Base Salary: $165,000 – $200,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $250,000 – $315,000


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead revenue growth across media and healthcare sectors. This senior leadership role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with deep experience selling high-value technology solutions to enterprise organizations, including hyperscalers and AI-focused companies.

In this role, you will work closely with executive leadership to refine go-to-market strategies, close complex enterprise deals, and build long-term partnerships within the AI, healthcare, and media ecosystems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and deal closure
  • Close six-figure and multi-six-figure enterprise deals with data buyers and strategic partners
  • Drive revenue growth in healthcare and media through both strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • Develop and manage relationships with enterprise clients, hyperscalers, and AI-focused organizations
  • Collaborate with the CEO and operations leadership to define sales strategy, resourcing, and market priorities
  • Help segment target markets and identify high-impact growth opportunities
  • Build and expand strategic partnerships to strengthen data offerings and market reach

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in high-growth startups or as an early sales hire
  • Proven track record of closing $100K+ ACV deals, with experience handling $200K–$300K contracts
  • Experience selling technology products or services to large enterprise companies
  • Strong quota-carrying background with current or recent revenue targets
  • Ability to independently manage complex, consultative sales processes
  • Familiarity with healthcare data, media data, or enterprise data solutions
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and communication skills

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

  • Background working with or selling into hyperscalers such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, or OpenAI
  • Experience selling AI, data, or analytics platforms
  • Existing Bay Area enterprise network
  • Exposure to AI-driven products, machine learning, or data marketplaces
